Wide range of earth leakage relays perfectly suited for earth fault protection of equipment and the limitation of touch voltages where automatic disconnection of supply is required. Typically achieved by shunt tripping another protective device such as an upstream circuit breaker.IME earth leakage relay's are easily connected to the sensing toroid with a 2 wire connection. The relays come complete with 1 or 2 trip contacts to control shunt trip or under-voltage trip fitted to a circuit breaker with the second trip contact acting as signal for indication/BMS. To reduce nusinace tripping they come with harmonic filters. There are options such as remote testing/reseting which reduce the requirement to be on site as well as pre-trip alarms so that preventative action can be taken before the circuit breaker trips reducing down time.
