Scotch® Heavy Duty Vinyl Electrical Tape 22 is one of 3M’s thickest (0.25 mm) premium vinyl electrical tapes. The combination of elastic backing and aggressive adhesive provides moisture-resistant electrical and mechanical protection with fewer wraps than thinner tapes. Excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, corrosion and varying weather conditions (including UV exposure) offers superior durability for increased reliability. Application temperature down to -10°C means the tape can be applied in very cold weather so electrical work can be performed year-round. Excellent adhesion ensures the tape sticks well to all cable jackets and conductors so that the likelihood of flagging is reduced. Heavy duty tape thickness allows for quicker build up and better mechanical protection which saves time, increases productivity and makes a more robust outer jacket.
